Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms could be related to diverticulitis or an infection.

The stool analysis will definitely help investigate for the possible causes.

In the meantime, I recommend performing an abdominal ultrasound and some blood lab tests (complete blood count, amylase and lipase plasma levels for pancreatitis, PCR, ESR for inflammation, kidney and liver function tests.)

You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
